FMHS SGA plans Color Fun Run

FORT MADISON – The Fort Madison High School Student Government is coordinating a Color Fun Run for the community. Proceeds will benefit the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital and the FMHS student government.

A color run is a run/walk event where participants are covered in a colored powder along the route. All color being used is Earth friendly and biodegradable.

The 2019 Color Fun Run will be held Saturday, May 18 with registration forms available at FMHS, Anytime Fitness, Rev Fitness, Ft. Madison YMCA, and The Fort Madison Partners office.

The form can also be found at http://www.fortmadison.com/event/fmhs-color-run/ .The pre-registration fee is $25.00. All registration forms must be turned in by April 26 to receive a t-shirt. Anyone who returns the form after said date will be responsible for providing their own white t-shirt.

On the day of the event, registration will be available. Participants that plan to register on the day of, should bring their own white shirt. Day-of registration fee is $30.00. Check-in and day-of registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. The run will begin at 9 a.m.

The race will begin and end at FMMS. Light refreshments will be served at the finish line. Cars may be parked at the Fort Madison Middle School parking lot.

Pre-registration forms for the event may be returned to Fort Madison High School, The Fort Madison Partners, Rev Fitness, Fort Madison YMCA, and Anytime Fitness.
