Baseball, softball youth leagues now forming at BSC

FORT MADISON - For the second year, Lee County baseball and softball youth leagues are being organized by Baxter Sports Complex.

The league is completely free to any child in the tri-state area. All games are played within Lee County with travel to Fort Madison, Donnellson, Keokuk, Montrose, West Point and Farmington.

League play begins in May and more information will be available once teams have been finalized.

Registration is completely free and forms can be picked up, dropped off or mailed to the complex at: Baxter Sports Complex, P.O. Box 587, Fort Madison Iowa, 52627.

The league provides free registration, full uniform, helmets, bats, and catchers gear by the Baxter Family Foundation. Gloves and proper footwear are not included.

The league is hoping to sign 100 players for the league this year. The link to a registration form is included below and registrations can also be emailed to baxtersportsdirector@gmail.com.
