Menke takes 3rd in 400 at Danville junior high meet

DANVILLE - Holy Trinity's Rachel Menke captured third place in the girls 400-meter dash Tuesday at the Danville Junior High Co-Ed Invitational.

Menke's time of 1:15.27 was eight seconds off the pace of New London's Elly Manning. The girls 4x100 team of Juniper Strickland, Brianna Wrights, Anayi Navarro and Elle Dostalek, came in 4th with a time of 1:07.24.

On the boys' side, Holy Trinity's James Scheetz earned fourth place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 29.60.
