Lady Hounds get five top fives at Lamb Pen City Relays

FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison Bloodhounds recorded two third-place finishes and finished 14th overall at the 44th Annual Timm Lamb Pen City Relays.

Freshman Raquel Schneider finished the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:15.51, just .18 seconds out of second place behind Ashley Telleen of Washington. Maggie Cristoforo led the pack with a quick 1:06.26 for Mt. Pleasant.

The Shuttle Hurdle Relay team also took 3rd place with a time of 1:15.63. Sophomore Reyna Lampe who led off the shuttle hurdle relay, also took a 4th place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.22.

Freshman Katie Dennis came in fifth-place in the 3000-meter run with a time of 12:40.54. Lauren King and Claire Hellman finished 6th and 7th behind Dennis.

Other top finishers for the Lady Hound included Hellman's 8th place in the 1500-meter run with a time of 6:11.33. The 4x100 meter relay team came in 8th place wih a time of 57.36 and the 800-sprint medley girls took 7th with a 2:06.90. Dalyn Wondra earned 7th place in the discus with a throw of 86-3.75.
