Fort Madison Police Report

04/09/19 – 3:19 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1400 block of 30th Street.

04/09/19 – 8:11 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 2100 block of Avenue D

04/11/19 – 6:16 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a vandalism in the 1700 block of Avenue G.

04/11/19 – 12:45 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1800 block of Avenue F.

04/11/19 – 3:23 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen bicycle in the 2300 block of Avenue H

04/12/19 – 9:42 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 400 block of 10th Street.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report

04/05/19 – 4:29 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of Carbide Lane and 235th Avenue where a vehicle driven by Yvonne Diane Reeves, 58, of Keokuk, went through the intersection and over Carbide Lane coming to a stop against some trees in the ditch. Reeves was extricated from the vehicle and was transported to Unity Point Hospital in Keokuk with injuries. She was cited for failure to maintain control, no insurance and driving without a license. A passenger in the vehicle was uninjured.

04/10/19 – 10:48 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies cited John Henry Wenke, 18, of Argyle at 245th Street and 160th Avenue on charges of possessio of alcohol under the age of 21-1st offense. He was released upon citation.

04/11/19- 3:24 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Allen Elfgen, 42, of West Point, at the sheriff’s office on a judgment hold.

04/11/19 – 5:09 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tabitha Lynn Blanchard, 29, of Keokuk, at the Dubuque County Jail in Dubuque on warrants for assault with injury to a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct. She was released on bond.

04/11/19 – 7:05 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Emily Ann Kruse, 24, of Fort Madison, in the 500 block of 16th Street in Fort Madison on warrants for possession of methamphetamine less than five grams and unauthorized use of a credit card less than $1,000. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/11/19 – 11:29 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Lauren Hayley Schneider, 21, of Fort Madison at the intersection of 303rd Avenue and Academy Avenue in Denmark. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and then released on a promise to appear.

Those listed above are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

04/12/19 – Fort Madison Firefighters responded to one false alarm, one potential hazmat, one vehicle accident.
