05/09/19 - 2:26 a.m. - Fort Madison Police cited Jose Raphel Draper, 20, of Fort Madison, in the 1400 block of Avenue G, on a charge of under age consumpion. He was released upon citation.

05/08/19 - 6:00 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested David Leroy Kruse, 63, of Fort Madison, in the 200 block of Avenue G, on a charge of first-degree harassment. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

05/09/19 - 9:21 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a shoplifter in the 2600 block of Avenue L.

05/09/19 - 1:14 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 300 block of 22nd Street.

05/09/19 - 3:41 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2300 block of Avenue M.

05/09/19 - 4:39 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a personal injury accident in the 4800 block of Avenue O.

05/10/19 - 7:13 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1400 block of Avenue G.

05/10/19 - 7:14 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 3000 block of Avenue J.

05/10/19 - 7:29 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft reported at the police department.

05/13/19 - 1:58 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Christina Sue Barnes, 37, of Fort Madison, in the 600 block of 21st Street on a charge of domestic abuse assault, and public intoxication-1st offense. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

Lee County Sheriff's Department Report

05/10/19 - 6:20 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 61. A vehicle driven by James Peter Inghram, 50, of Fort Madison struck a vehicle driven by Peter Ross Atwood, 57, of Montrose, waiting to cross Hwy. 61 at cross over intersection. Inghram was cited for failure to maintain control. No injuries were reported at the scene.

05/10/19 - 12:07 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident on Carbide Lane in Keokuk. A vehicle driven by Mark Frederick Reinig, 46, of Keokuk was, according to reports, struck by a semi-trailor that rolled back into the front end of Reinig's vehicle, and then pulled away from the incident. No citations or injuries were reported at the scene.

05/10/19 - 12:53 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident at the junction of Hwy 61 and 175th Street. A vehicle driven by Howard JW Jones, 59, of Burlington, lost control due to mechanical issues. The vehicle entered the median at 175th Street and struck a stop sign before coming to rest in the northbound lane of Hwy. 61. Jones sustained minor injuries, but refused medical treatment. Jones was also cited for failure to have a valid driver's license and violation of financial liability.

05/10/19 - 3:28 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jeffrey George Sniegowski, Jr., 35, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office on a judgment hold. He was taken to the Lee County Hail and held.

05/10/19 - 4:00 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Dean Thurman, listed as homeless, at the sheriff's office on a court-ordered hold. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

05/10/19 - 6:03 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Christian Jay Jones, 47, of Keokuk, at the Hancock County Jail in Carthage, on warrants for violation of probation and possession of methamphetamine less than 5 grams. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

05/10/19 - 6:08 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Richard Wayne Mattix, 42, of West Burlington on a charge of contempt of court. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on his recognizance.

05/11/19 - 1:48 a.m. -Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested David Michael Omiatek, II, 20, of Fort Madison, in the 600 block of N. 6th Street on a warrant for violation of probation. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

05/11/19 - 11:36 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Donald Ray Wall, Jr., at the Des Moines County Jail in Burlington, on warrants for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody and then released on his recognizance.

05/11/10 - 1:28 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 3500 block of Argyle Road. A vehicle driven by Ethan Andrew Lefler, 18, of Canton, Mo., lost control when Lefler overcorrected and spun into the right ditch suffering minor damage and no injuries. No citations were issued at the scene.

05/12/19 - 12:38 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Travon Darnell Allen, 34, of Silvis, at the sheriff's office on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

05/12/19 - 12:38 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested William Joseph Dorrell, 34, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

05/12/19 - 9:02 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Terry Eugene Kite, 41, of Keokuk, in the 1800 block of Bank Street in Keokuk, on warrants for assault with injury and violation of parole. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

05/12/19 - 10:18 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on County Road 303, where a vehicle driven by JoyMarie Phyllis Mack, 33, of Fort Madison, swerved to avoid an animal and collided with a county guard rail. No injuries nor citations were reported at the scene.
