Columbus Club donates $600 to Food Pantry

Chuck Wilkens from the Ft Madison Columbus Club presents their annual donation to Food Pantry volunteer Karen Wellman.  The Columbus Club has included the Pantry amongst their numerous community interests for many years now.  Annually it donates enough to the Pantry to feed a family of four for over 6 months.  

Formed in 1967, the Columbus Club is one of the oldest service organizations in Fort Madison.  The group is made up of 11 community-minded area citizens and regularly gives to area projects such as the Food Pantry, the city fireworks fund, the summer city park concerts, and other area organization projects.  They are affiliated with the local Knights of Columbus.
