Service clubs donate $3,700 to Elliott Test Kitchen

FORT MADISON - On May 14th, the Glo Crazy for Education 5k committee presented a check in the amount of $3,700 to the Elliott Test Kitchen.

This represents the proceeds from the April 6th 5k run/walk. This is the second year that four service groups have worked to together to raise funds for the Elliott Test Kitchen. The Fort Madison Lions, Rotary, Kiwanis and Key Club worked together to make this event successful.

The committee wishes to thank the generous sponsors of the Glo Run. Thanks to all the participants who joined us for the run/walk. Without you there wouldn’t be an event. Thanks to the Lee County Sheriff Reserves who provided security for our participants.
