Jeanine Karyl Whisenand, 61, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 6:29 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, IA.  She was born on October 22, 1957 in Sunnymead, CA to Albert & Rubey Wickham Pihl.  She married Robbie Bornsheuer in November of 1974, they later divorced.  She married Jack R. Whisenand on June 22, 2004 in Las Vegas, NV.  She was a 911 & police dispatcher for many years in Lee County.  She was a member of the Fort Madison Moose & Eagles Clubs and enjoyed shopping & buying antiques.  Her family and friends were the most important things to her.

       Jeanine is survived by: her husband: Jack Whisenand of Fort Madison, IA; 2-daughters: Mandie (Ivan) May of Las Vegas, NV & Kristie Bornsheuer of Burlington, IA; 2-step sons: Brian & Brad Whisenand of Fort Madison, IA; 6-grandchildren: Shenelle, Derrick, Sydney, Jaydis, Danika & Brian; 1-step granddaughter: Jennifer; 3-great grandchildren: Peyton, Kassidy & 1 on the way; her mother: Rubey (Leon) Ott of Fort Madison, IA; 3-sisters: Barbara Palmer of Fort Madison, IA, Jo Ann Crafton of Fort Madison, IA & Karen Dinwiddie of Montrose, IA; 1-brother: Steve (Joan) Pihl of Fort Madison, IA.  She was preceded in death by her father.
