Task force gets Keokuk man on felony meth charge

KEOKUK - Colby Matthew Manning, 26, of Keokuk, Iowa was arrested on June 20th, 2019 in the 2400 block of Bank St. on felony drug charges and a warrant for probation violation. Manning is charged with delivery of less than five grams of methamphetamine a class C Felony, with enhancement for 2nd offense.

The arrest of Manning stems from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that he was involved in the distribution of illegal drugs in the Lee County area.

The Lee County Attorney’s Office, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Lee County Probation and Parole and the Keokuk Police Department assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
