PEPSI LEE COUNTY SPEEDWAY

DONNELLSON - For the third time in 2019 mother nature has taken the checkered flag at the Pepsi Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa. Strong storms and heavy rains moved thru the area on Friday morning, and with more forecasted for later in the evening there was no chance of getting on the race track to get it ready for action. Therefore Brian and Marcie Gaylord were forced to cancel the 2nd Annual 305 Winged Nationals, which was suppose to be presented by Mohrfeld Electric.
Next Friday, June 28th will be Veteran's Nights at the Pepsi Lee County Speedway, as Pilot Grove Savings Bank and Donnellson Tire & Service help to bring the action. The I-Smile Silver IMCA Late Models, Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Donnellson Tire & Service IMCA Stock Cars, Roberts Tire Center IMCA SportMods, and Discount Tire & Service IMCA Sport Compacts will all be racing for track points.
Gates open at 5:30 PM, Hot Laps at 7 PM, and Racing at 7:30 PM. Grandstand admission will be Adults $10, Seniors (60+) $9, Students (11-17) $5, and Kids 10 & under FREE! Pit passes will be $30, driver's $20, ages (7-13) $20, ages (4-6) $10, and ages (3 & under $5).
Also don't forget that on Friday, June 28th will be the final time that all Henry and Van Buren county residents can take advantage of the $5 off the adult and senior grandstand prices. Plus all veterans will receive $5 off the grandstand prices. You must bring some for of I.D. to be eligible for the discount. Only one discount per person will be honored.
After Friday nights action we will have fireworks. Yes, I did say fireworks! So come out and enjoy a great night of racing and then stick around for the fireworks show.
