FORT MADISON - Out with the old and in with the new. We've all heard it, but DuPont is taking it to a new level by sending out the old for charity.

The Fort Madison DuPont production facility will be selling their old brand signage with all the proceeds going to the company's annual United Way Campaign.

DuPont rebranded with all new logos and signage in June of this year and has pulled all the old signs for the highest bidder.

The company has five signs that will be sold including the 5'x12' property sign that welcomed people to the plant for decades.

All interested bidders on the signs need to submit bids to Tammy Workman at Tammy-Lynn.Workman@dupont.com before Aug. 19. The bids will be revealed on Aug. 20. Any questions should be directed to Workman at 319-376-5223.

The first 5'x 12' sign is the old logo sign and is made of hard plastic.

The second signs is the old DuPont logo "Plant Entrance" sign and is 3-feet tall by 6-feet wide and is constructed of plexiglass. It has the words 'Fort Madison, Iowa on it and "No Thru Traffic'.

The plant is also selling a 'Do Not Enter' sign that also reads "No Thru Traffic - Business Only' and has the old logo on it. It is made of plexiglass.

The fourth and fifth signs are directional signs with arrows and both are DuPont Receiving signs. One is a vertical 3-feet x 2-feet sign and the other is horizontal with the same dimensions. Both are metal signs.
