Lee County Youth services offers grant funding

LEE COUNTY - Lee County Youth Services, Inc., a nonprofit organization led by a volunteer board of directors, is pleased to announce the seventh year of grant funding for nonprofit organizations that have a emphasis on youth programs.

Lee County Youth Services, Inc. was established to provide opportunities for youth in need and those who serve them. The mission of Lee County Youth Services, Inc. is to create programs of social responsibility and community involvement/education for youth.

Grant funding will be distributed in the Fall of 2019. Grant applications can be downloaded at: www.keokukfoundation.org/lcys . The deadline for all Lee County Youth Services, Inc. grant applications is October 1, 2018. Lee County Youth Services, Inc. only focus for support is Lee County, Iowa. Priority grant funding will be given to programs and/or services which help address social, economic, and educational issues of youth ages 6-19.

Organizations may apply for grants up to $5,000.00 Grants will be made to those organizations which have been determined by the Internal Revenue Service to be exempt according to IRS as a 501 (c) (3) or to a qualified government agency in Lee County Iowa.
