FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Community Hospital recognized Carolyn Lobberecht as their June Employee of the Month. Lobberecht works as Unit Secretary on the Medical/Surgical Floor. She has been with FMCH for 26 years. Lobberecht was recognized with the following nomination.

Carolyn displays the following Standards of Behavior: Guest Relations, Respect, Positive Attitude, Commitment to Co-Workers, Personal Accountability, and Communications. This employee is the first person other staff and providers go to when they have a need or a question as she sits at the hub of all information. This employee makes sure we know when a patient is scheduled for a procedure, reminds us of order changes, a NPO status, any delays, makes sure patients and their families questions are answered and needs met. They make pots of coffee and delivers along with refreshments to families awaiting a loved one’s end. I have never heard this employee refuse any request; they are a true team player.

“Everyone at FMCH is part of a team and we all do our part to help one another. The best part of working at FMCH is the friendliness of my co-workers,” commented Lobberecht on her favorite part of working at FMCH.
Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks and watching good movies when not at work.

The Employee of the Month is an initiative developed by the Reward & Recognition team. Each month a FMCH employee is honored for going above and beyond for the good of the patient, their co-workers and the organization.
