Keokuk man arrested on felony meth charge

KEOKUK - Chad Alan Riddle, 36, of Keokuk, Iowa was arrested on August 24th, 2019 in the 3700 block of Main St. Keokuk, IA. This arrest resulted in felony drug charges being filed on August 27th. Riddle is charged with possession with intent to deliver less than 5 grams of methamphetamine, second or subsequent offense.

The arrest of Riddle stems from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that he was involved in the distribution of illegal drugs in the Lee County area.

The Lee County Attorney’s Office, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Keokuk Police Department assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
