FMCH to hold session on pain management

FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Community Hospital (FMCH) will host the next session in their monthly community health education series on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.
This session entitled “What Happens When Pain Doesn’t Go Away?” will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at FMCH in the Business Center Conference Rooms.
The FMCH team of Physical Therapists, Zach Thompson and Matt Wickert, will lead the discussion on pain.

Pain is a very individualized and complex topic. Thompson and Wickert will discuss the science behind pain; how to get to the source of pain and treatment options available.
FMCH Outpatient Rehabilitation Services employs a full team of professionals consisting of seven physical therapists, five physical therapy assistants, two occupational therapists, one occupational therapy assistant and a speech therapist. They are an integral part of the health care team –working to help patients maintain or regain an active life.
