Patricia L. VerDught, 84 of Kahoka, MO died Monday, September 2, 2019 at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, IA.
She was born August 19, 1935 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the daughter of Melvin G. and Leona Maria Sova Kuba. On May 23, 1953 she was united in marriage to Donald L. VerDught. He survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Darcia Lynn VerDught of Keokuk, Diana Renee VerDught (Larry Shuman) of Kahoka, and Amanda Jo Yoder Griffin (Phillip) of Keokuk, two grandchildren, Jacoblee VerDught (Claudia) and Caleb VerDught of North Liberty, four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Corbin, Alicia and Connley Griffin, three half-sisters, Jane Kuba Cobb (Howard) of Cedar Rapids, Kandy Kuba Scarbrough of Meridian, Mississippi and Jackie Kuba Wright (Ron) of Roy, Washington and three half-brothers, Joseph Kuba of Cedar Rapids, John Kuba (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids and Myron Scott (Barbara) of Tempe, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald VerDught, Jr. and Ronald VerDught, her parents, step-mother, Wyona Kuba, step-father, Myron Scott, one sister, Joan Kuba Frazee (Bob), one half-brother, Melvin Kuba and sister in law, Debbie Kuba and brother in law, Roger Scarbrough.
Patricia had been employed by State Central Bank and Norwest Bank, formerly Security State Bank, in the accounting department for twenty years.
Patricia was a den mother for Cub Scouts for several years.
She enjoyed ceramics and taught several classes over the years. She also enjoyed drawing, sewing, crocheting and visiting with family and friends. Patricia has a green thumb and loved to spend time in her flower gardens. She loved all kinds of animals, but none had a greater place in her heart than her faithful cats. At the age of 15, Pat was a 1st prize winner of the state national scholastic art award and took top prize in the Carnegie institute at Pittsburg.
According to her wishes there will be no services.
Memorials may be made to the Keokuk Salvation Army in memory of Patricia.
The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA is assisting the family with arrangements.
