Fort Madison Elks Club awards scholarships

FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison Elk's Club recently awarded annual scholarships to seniors Faith Diephuis and LilliAnna Scott.

Diephuis was awarded a $1500 vocational scholarship awarded by the Southeastern District of the Elks. She is enrolled in a 2-year physical therapy program at Kirkwood Community College. Ms Scott was awarded a $500 scholarship as part of the Elks Most Valuable Student scholarship opportunity. She is enrolled in a 4-year program at the University of Iowa.
