FMCSD looking for SIAC volunteers

FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison Community School District is looking for volunteers to sit on the school's School Improvement Advisory Committee.

The committee reviews district goals and objectives and makes recommendations to the district's Board of Directors. The committee will determine the following categories below and report back to the board with recommendations.

• Educational needs
• Learning goals
• Long range goals
• Desired levels of student performance
• Bullying prevention programs, training, etc.

The committee is comprised of teachers, community members, parents and students.
