FORT MADISON - On our Mayor’s designated “Trick or Treat” night (October 31stfrom 5 p.m. -7 p.m.) over 25 neighbors and small businesses outside the downtown area will be handing out treats in Old Settlers Park.

Fraise Auction and Real Estate will be sponsoring light suppers for guests until supplies are exhausted. SCC’s Blackhawk Softball team will be serving the dinner and drinks.

To reserve a free table, call Chairman Sheryl Decker at 372-7813 by Friday October 18 or send an email to jsdecker67@msn.com  – decorate as you wish, dress up if you wish, and plan on 500 children to stop by your table.

Last year, OSA President Jim Decker grilled 700 hot dogs and they were all served in the 2 hour time frame. So if you miss having kids ring your doorbell, come and join the fun at Old Settlers Park – 4th& Avenue E this Halloween.

Everyone must register at Fahey Shelter upon arrival and tables are first come – first pick basis. Set up time is 4 pm – 4:45 pm.
