Little Hounds move to 5-0 on the year

WASHINGTON - A 28-0 shutout over Washington has moved the Fort Madison 8th grade football team to 5-0 on the season.

Teague Smith exploded for 229 yards on just 20 carries and scored four touchdowns to lead Fort Madison.

Henry Wiseman had 72 yards on six carries and had five tackles and a fumble recovery.

Ike Thacher was the leading tackler for the Hounds with six . Smith had five, and Hunter Creswell, Joe Hartman, Jayden Bowen and Javean Davis all had four tackles.

Smith scored on runs of 42, 40, 15 and 3 yards. He also hooked up with Hartman and Jamarcus Kline on 2pt. pass conversions.

The Hounds travel to Keokuk on Tuesday for a 4:30 game.
