DONNELLSON - The Three Rivers Conservation Foundation is hosting a Chicken Dinner Fundraiser on Sunday, November 3rd, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Charleston Board of Trade. The price of the dinner is $10 for adults and $6 for children under 12.
The mission of the Three Rivers Conservation Foundation is to support Lee County Conservation projects and environmental education programs. Currently, the group is focused on raising funds for their “Places to Play” campaign. The goal of this initiative is to help Lee County Conservation raise funds for new playground equipment at the Pollmiller, Wilson Lake, Chatfield, and Heron Bend. The members hope to have the first playground project completed at Pollmiller by 2020. Funds raised from this event will support this project.
Tickets are available at the Lee County Conservation Office or from any foundation board members. Walk-ins are also welcomed the night of the event.
For more information on the event, contact the Lee County Conservation Office at 319-463-7673. The Charleston Board of Trade is located at 1962 253rd St in Charleston.
