Hound 7th graders win at Washington

WASHINGTON - Marcus Guzman scored 10 points to lead Fort Madison's 7th Grade Little Hounds boys basketball team to a 35-16 over Washington Tuesday night.

Caden Barnes had eight points and led the Hounds in rebounds with six. Julian Dear had seven point, while Aiden Mitchell added six and Dayton Lamar had four. Lamar and Brody Cashman each has six boards for Fort Madison.

Washington took the 'B' game 12-8. Tatum Schelich had four points for Fort Madison. Noah Swigart and Ethan Huffman each had two points. Jake Ehlers had four rebounds for the Hounds.

In the 'C' game, Kenen Bowie had five points to lead Fort Madison to a 13-11 win. Kalib Heidbreder had four and Gavin Blindt and Joseph Fuller each had a couple points. Heidbreder had 13 rebounds in the game to lead all Hounds boys on the night.
