ISU Extension Field day set for Dec. 5

DONNELLSON - Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and the Natural Resources Conservation Service will be hosting a Bioreactor Field Day on Thursday, December 5 from 10:00 am to noon. Event will be at Bill Dahm’s field just north of Donnellson, IA on 180thStreet. This event is for anyone who is interested in seeing a live construction demonstration.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view and learn about the bioreactor being installed. Kristina TeBockhorst, ISU Extension and Outreach Ag Engineer, and James Martin, IDALS Southeast Iowa Regional Coordinator, will discuss what a bioreactor is and how it works.

This event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required. Please contact the Whitney Weisinger at the Lee County Extension Office at 319-835-5116 or weisinge@iastate.edu. The registration deadline is Wednesday, December 4.
