Fort Madison Police Report

11/25/19 - 6:42 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 3000 block of Avenue C.

11/25/19 - 11:58 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2000 block of Avenue B.

11/25/19 - 2:33 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of Avenue F.

11/25/19 - 4:14 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2600 block of Avenue L.

11/25/19 - 5:09 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of Avenue F.

11/25/19 - 5:51 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1500 block of 35th Street.

11/25/19 - 5:36 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Adam Paul Carson, 37, of Fort Madison, in the 2800 block of Avenue J, on a charges of criminal mischief, interference with officials acts and assault of a police officer. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/25/19 - 5:40 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Stephanie Jean Chaney, 37 of Fort Madison, at the police department, on a warrant for probation violation. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/26/19 - 6:54 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary on Florence Drive.

11/26/19 - 7:41 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Kyle Max Ray, 31, of Fort Madison in the 3400 block of Avenue N. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/26/19 - 5:05 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Bradly Dwayne Carter, 47, of Keokuk, in the 5400 block of Avenue O, on a warrant for forgery. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/26/19 - 8:07 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Jason Scott Coulter, 39, of Fort Madison, in the 3400 block of Avenue L, on warrants for 3rd-degree burglary and 5th-degree theft. He was also cited for no driver's license, No insurance, and fraudulent use of registration. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/26/19 - 10:41 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the Fort Madison area.

Lee County Sheriff's Report

11/25/19 - 3:00 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested David Louis Meyers, 20, of Hannibal, Mo., at the Pike County Jail on a warrant for 2nd-degree theft greater than $1,000 but less than $10,000. He was released on bond.

11/25/19 - 11:00 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Justin Michael Hemphill, 26, of Davenport, at the sheriff's office on a warrant violating a no-contact order. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/25/19 - 4:36 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of 156th Street and 280th Avenue. According to the report a vehicle driven by Chanda Kay Moser-Callaway, 46, of Middletown, crossed 156th Street without seeing a vehicle driven by Earl Gene Lewis, 58, of Fort Madison headed eastbound. Lewis struck Moser-Callaway in the side. Moser-Callaway complainted of minor knee pain, but declined medical treatment. No other injuries were reported at the scene. Moser-Callaway was cited for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.

11/27/19 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to two burn complaints, one false alarm and one assist.

11/28/19 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to three medical calls, one residential alarm, and CO2 alarm
