Gary William Rhum, 63, of Keokuk, IA, formerly of Burlington, IA, died Saturday, November 30, 2019 at his home.
He was born on May 24, 1956 in Burlington, IA, the son of Edward Dallas and Susan Caroline Blessing Rhum.

In his younger years he had been employed as a prep-cook, at the Coach House and Gators in Burlington.
He enjoyed attending Saturday services at First Christian Church in Keokuk.
Gary was a music guru. He loved to listen to all music, especially classic rock and the blues and was very knowledgeable about the bands. He was also very good at trivia. Gary enjoyed cooking and spending time with friends. He was very sociable and never knew a stranger. Most of all he loved his daughter and was very proud of her.
He is survived by his daughter, Kaitlyn Dietsch and her husband Kristofer of Burlington, IA, his mother, Susan Rhum of Danville, IA, his sister, Barbara Rhum of Danville, IA, his twin brother Larry Rhum of Mississippi, aunts,uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, his wife, Connie, and one son, Daniel.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Pastor David Turner officiating. There will be no visitation.
