Graber named Lee County GOP ambassador for 2019

DONNELLSON - The Lee County Republican Central Committee held its annual Christmas Carry-in Party Monday, December 2, at the Pilot Grove Community Center in Donnellson.

Many friends and supporters enjoyed great dining of Pork Loin, prepared by Terry Schrepfer, and a large variety of sides and desserts.

Chairman Martin Graber announced Coni Graber as the 2019 GOP Ambassador of the Year.

Sara Burns, Keokuk, was the winner of the $50 “GOP Supporter Contact” drawing.

Candidates for Iowa Senate District 42 Jeff Reichman and Nancy Amos, spoke briefly about the upcoming primary race.

Joe Mitchell, Iowa House District 84 Representative expressed his anticipation of the new 2019 session starting in January.

Molly Sullivan, Iowa 2nd District Representative for the Trump Campaign, urged the group to encourage voters to participate in the Caucus on February 3 as it is very important to show support for President Trump and all Republican candidates.

The evening concluded with a fun game of “TRUMP” Bingo.
