HTC 8th graders suffer first loss in 20 games

FORT MADISON - The Holy Trinity Catholic eighth grade girls dropped their first game in almost two years on Monday.

The girls fell to visiting Cardinal 21-29 and move to 8-1 on the year. Mary Kate Bendlage once again led the Crusaders with 13 points. Natalie Randolph added five points, while Taegan Denning chipped in with two and Reagan Holvoet had one point.

The seventh graders also suffered a loss, their second of the season falling to 7-2 on the year with a 14-19 loss.

Isabella Callison had six points, followed by Teagan Snaadt and Anna Bendlage with three each. Ellie Lake had two points on the night.

The Crusaders play at Central Lee Thursday night starting at 4:30 p.m.
