Want to make something for a gift yourself? FMAAA's Place of Fire has a multitude of ceramics to glaze both Christmas themed or utilitarian wares like a cool mug for dad or a wine glass for mom. The kiln will be fired on December 20thso that folks have plenty of time to pick up their wares.

On December 18thfrom 2 p.m. -5 p.m., FMAAA will offer drop-in ornament making. For $3 do a Pollack drip round bulb that goes home in a box. Or use the slab table to make raw clay ornaments that will not need to be fired in a kiln. The clay is a special air clay that will dry to finished product.
