Junior high wrestlers win 22 at home meet

FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Junior High Wrestlers competed at home against Hannibal, Ottumwa, and Keokuk on Tuesday night and took 22 of 31 matches.

Individually, Landon Rudd went 3-0 with three falls. Jayden Bowen, Connor Dennis, Tate Green, Logan Pennock, Teague Smith, and Issac Thatcher went 2-0 with two pins each.

Gavyn Siemens went 2-0 with one fall and one technical fall. Landon Crank went 2-0. Joe Hartman, Maddalee Powers, and Aaron Warner went 1-1 with one pin. Hannah Carson and Henry Wiseman each went 1-1. Sadie Brandon, Bo Hedrich, and Calvin Johnson also competed.

The Fort Madison Middle School wrestlers will compete again on January 14th, 2020 at Keokuk Middle School with wrestling starting at 4:30 p.m.
