Patricia Frances Brandt Green Moehn(60) of Burlington, passed away on December 29, 2019 at 5:07 am in Iowa City, Iowa. Patty was born on July 2, 1959 in Ft. Madison, to the late Harold Brandt and Gyrtha Ritchey Myhra Brandt.

She graduated from Fort Madison High School in 1978 and went on to marry Douglas Green on July 10, 1978 and divorced in 2001. During her marriage to Doug, they had two beautiful children, Lisa F. Green & David D. Green. She was a graduate of Southeastern Community College West Burlington, class of 1991. She later married William J. Moehn on April 18, 2014 in Burlington, Iowa.

       Patty worked at Matt’s Greenhouse and Flower Cottage for several years and later was employed with Federal Mogul who she recently celebrated 20 years of employment. Her volunteer work included Civil Defense from 1978 to 1985 and helped with Riverfest in 1989. In 1976 she also loved and enjoyed tutoring grade school students. 

       She loved the outdoors with great passion and enjoyed bike riding, swimming and spending time with grandchildren. Within the last few years, Patty had a great talent for creating arts and crafts and had sold many of her decorations through her company, Moehn’s Creations. She was well known for her sense of humor and was such a caring and loving person. 

Patty is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Margaret Myhra Call and Raye Brandt Dunham. She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Moehn; daughter, Lisa F. Green of Burlington, IA; son, David D. (Michelle) Green of Tucson, AZ; two step-sons, Monte and Marc Moehn both of Mt. Pleasant, IA; grandsons, Gracin Dugger and Spencer Ervin; one step-grandson, Gage Cable; and one step-grandson on the way; brother, Mike (Mimi) Myhra of San Francisco, CA; sisters, Barb (John) Mallon of Indio, CA and Renee (Dan) Carr of Keokuk, IA and several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Please join the family for a visitation on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 4:00 pm at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev.
