Task force arrests Montrose couple

LEE COUNTY - The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a Montrose couple on felony and misdemeanor drug charges.

MILLER

Wesley Eugene Miller, 62 of Montrose was arrested on January 6th, 2020 at his Montrose home. Miller is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine Less than 5 Grams Second or Subsequent Offense Class C Felony, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana While in Possession of Firearm Class D Felony with Enhancements, Manufacture of Marijuana While in Possession of a Firearm Class D Felony, Felon in Possession of a Firearm Class D Felony, Drug Tax Stamp Violation Class D Felony, Maintaining a Drug House Aggravated Misdemeanor, and Possession of Paraphernalia Simple Misdemeanor.

KING

Patsy Jean King, 67 of Montrose was also arrested on January 6th, 2020 along with Wesley Eugene Miller at their Montrose home. King is charged with Maintaining a Drug House Aggravated Misdemeanor, Possession of Controlled Substance Serious Misdemeanor, and Possession of Paraphernalia Simple Misdemeanor.
The arrest of Miller and King stems from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into the distribution of narcotics and the manufacture of controlled substances.

The Lee County Attorney’s Office, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
