01/30/20 - 3:21 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Jaimie Renee Imthurn, 31, of Fort Madison, at the police station, on a charge of domestic abuse assault. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

01/30/20 - 10:29 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run on Richards Drive.

01/30/20 - 5:37 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 200 block of Avenue E.

01/30/20 - 6:28 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 1000 block of Avenue E.

01/30/20 - 4:14 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Bradley Scott Gardner, 48, of Dexter, Mo., in the 3200 block of Hwy. 27, on a charge of operating while intoxicated. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

01/31/20 - 12:39 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Krystal Hope Lopez, 31, of Fort Madison at the intersection of 1st and Spruce in Montrose, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

01/31/20 - 9:32 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Stephen John Steffensmeier, 51, of Keokuk, in the 1000 block of Palean St. in Keokuk on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and 2nd-degree theft. He was taken to Lee County Jail and issued a pre-trial release.

01/31/20 - 5:00 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Danielle Lynn Smith, 32, of Farmington, at the sheriff's office on warrant for a judgment hold. She was released for serving the weekend.

02/01/20 - 8:47 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Norma Jean VanPelt, 69, of Fort Madison on a warrant for a judgment hold. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

02/01/20 - 8:18 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Mary Jo Rumelhart, 39, of Fort Madison in the 1900 block of Avenue O, on a warrant for voluntary absence from custody and a judgment hold. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and released for time served.

02/01/20 - 10:59 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Stephanie Rae Marshall, 31, of Burlington, on a warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

02/01/20 - 9:56 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on 303rd Avenue near Ridgewood Drive. According to the report a vehicle driven by Sally Ann Cline, 65, of Wever, made a left turn in front of another vehicle driven by Thomas Robert Wilken 69, of Niota, Ill. No injuries were reported and no citations were listed on the report.

02/02/20 - 4:44 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Joshua Brud Seymour, 39, of Nauvoo, Ill., on a warrant for drug trafficking. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

Hancock County Sheriff's Report

01/28/20 - Michael G Miller, age 22, of Keokuk, was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of No Valid Driver's License, No Insurance, and Unlawful Display of Registration. Miller was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.

01/29/20 - Scot A Flora, of Keokuk, was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Failure to Report Accident Knowing Personal Injury, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Stolen Vehicle, and Possession of Weapon by a Felon. Flora remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance,

01/29/20 - Preston L Powelson, age 25, of Carthage, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear I Failure to Pay on original charges of Speeding.
Powelson was released after posting required bond and given a future court date.
