02/12/20 - 11:33 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 300 block of Avenue G.

02/12/20 - 12:52 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a personal injury accident at the intersection of Bluff Road and Chalkridge Road.

02/13/20 - 12:28 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 900 block of Avenue E.

02/13/20 - 1:22 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1700 block of Avenue B.

02/13/20 - 4:35 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 2800 block of Avenue O.

02/13/20 - 8:49 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 2300 block of Avenue I.

Lee County Sheriff's Report

02/12/20 - 1:06 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 3200 block of Mississippi River Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Autumn Janelle Whitt, 22, of Keokuk, lost control on snow covered road an slid into the west ditch into a concrete culvert. Both the driver and a passenger, Ryan Lilly Thomas were transported to Fort Madison Community Hospital with injuries.

02/12/20 - 1:45 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 103. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Gage David Lange, 18, of West Point, was headed westbound in the 2700 block of Hwy. 103 on snowy, slick raods and crossed the center line and slid into the south ditch suffering minor damage. No citations or injuries were listed.

02/12/20 - 3:17 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2400 block of Carbide Lane. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Daniel Thomas Schwab, 46, of Keokuk, lost traction on a curve and slid into the south ditch. No citations or injuries were reported.

02/12/20 - 4:33 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Bluff Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Robert Edward Seidel, 32, of Fort Madison, lost control on slick road conditions westbound on Bluff Road and struck a culvert. No citations or injuries were listed.

02/12/20 - 6:16 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Derrick Lance Blaine, 36, of Burlington, at the sheriff's office on a charge of failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

02/12/20 - 7:12 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 2000 block of West Point Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Charles William Coppage, 56, of West Point, was headd northbound on West point Road, while a vehicle driven by Ronald Carol Hines, 74, of Donnellson was traveling southbound in the same area. Hines vehicle began to slide on heavy snow into the other lane and Coppage slowed but both vehicle collided head on. Both vehicles were disabled and no injuries were reported.

02/13/20 - 9:15 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehice accident in the parking lot of the sheriff's department. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Kyle Levi Haney, 32, of Keokuk backed into a parked car striking the bumper. No citations or injuries were listed on the report.

02/13/20 - 12:31 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on 9th Street and Avenue E in Fort Madison. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Leslie Ann Peters, 36, of Fort Madison attempted to make a left turn onto 9th Street from Avenue E, but slid on slushy conditions and collided with a Fort Madison Police cruiser driven by Gregory Kenneth Warosh, 28, of Keokuk. Both vehicles suffered functional damage. Warosh has emergency lights and sirens active according to the report. No citations or injuries were listed.

02/13/20 - 1:05 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kenneth Joe Irvin, 51, of Keokuk, in the 100 block of 9th Street in Keokuk, on a charge of contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on bond.
