Hancock County Sheriff's Report
Hancock County Sheriff Scott Bentzinger reports the following arrests for the week of January 27th, 2020 through February 2nd 2020.
02/10/20 - Steven R Davis, age 61, of Hamilton, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Davis was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
02/10/20 - Dwan E George, age 24, of Hamilton, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear/ Failure to Pay on original charges of Operating Uninsured Vehicle. George was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
02/10/20 - Andrew J DeHaven, age 36, of Pontoosuc, IL was arrested and charged with Murder. DeHaven remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his court appearance.
02/11/20 - Tammy R Hainline, age 40, of LaHarpe, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on original charges of No Valid Driver's License.
Hainline was released on her own Recognizance and given a future court date.
02/11/20 - Shea M McDonald, age 39, of Quincy, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Disorderly Conduct.
McDonald was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
02/11/20 - Shaine M Blanchard, age 22, of Hamilton, IL was arrested and charged with Driving While License Revoked. Blanchard was released after given a Notice to Appear on a future court date.
02/12/20 - Seth R Selvog, age 29, of Hamilton, IL was arrested and charged with Driving while License Suspended. Selvog was released after given a Notice to Appear on a future court date.
02/12/20 - Thomas L Brown, age 46, of Carthage, IL was arrested on a Warren County Warrant charging him with Petition to Revoke Probation on original charges of Aggravated Battery. Brown was released to Warren County Authorities.
02/12/20 - Andrew P Boylan, age 26, of Fort Madison, IA was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Obstructing Identification and Driving While License Suspended. Boylan remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance.
02/12/20 - Douglas W Washburn, age 38, of Sutter, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Obstructing Court Order for Aggravated Battery, Possession of Methamphetamine and Driving While License Suspended. Washburn remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance.
02/13/20 - William L Walker, age 45, of Keokuk, IA was arrested and charged with Violation of Bail Bond. Walker remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance.
02/13/20 - Jonathan WK Newlon, age 21, of Hamilton, IL was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence, Criminal Damage to Property, and Leaving Scene of Accident.
Newlon was also arrested on an Adams County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Speeding. Newlon was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
02/14/20 - Randy E Hobb, age Warsaw, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Residential Burglary, Theft, Criminal Trespass to Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Trespass to Residency. Hobb was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
02/14/20 - Tracy A Hermann, age 56, of West Point, IL was arrested and charged with Aggravated Driving Under the Influence and Driving While License Revoked/Suspended. Herman was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
02/14/20 - Joseph A. Akers, age 36, of Bowen, IL was arrested and charged with No Valid Driver's License. Akers was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
