Central Lee boys lose finale
Aden Ross and Dante Merschman each had 3 pointers in the Hawks 31-14 loss to Danville Tuesday night. Kayden Ames, Riley Stuecker, Ryan Wilbert and Zach Marwill each had two in the loss. In the 7th grade game, Brayden Wyrick led Central Lee with 14 in a 43-16 loss to the Bears. Owen Krogmeier scored three in the 5th quarter.

HTC boys down Central Lee
Ryan Wilbert scored seven to lead Central Lee’s 8th grade boys team past Holy Trinity Catholic 25-21 on Feb. 20. Dante Merschman scored six in the loss. In the 7th grade game, Holy Trinity won 27-22. Brayden Wyrick led Central Lee with 10 points, while Chase Johnson added six.

Central Lee boys fall to New London
Cory Jones had five points to lead the Hawks in the 33-18 loss on Feb. 24 at New London. Grant Myhre had four for Central Lee. In the 7th grade game Brayden Wyrick scored 23 and Chase Johnson had 10 as the Hawks rolled to a 37-22 win.

Notre Dame knocks off CL boys
Riley Stuecker had six points and Landan Lowenberg had four in Central Lee’s 52-33 loss to Burlington Notre Dame at home. Aiden Ross and Ryan Wilbert also had four points for the Hawks in the loss. In the 7th grade game, Brayden Wyrick scored 16 and Chase Johnson had 11 in a 40-28 win.

Hounds 8th graders end year with win
Carson Rashid scored nine points in a balanced scoring attack as Fort Madison’s 8th graders ended the season with a 43-36 ‘A’ game win over Mt. Pleasant Thursday night on the road.
Cade Denning scored eight, Leif Boeding had seven, and Nathan Bowen scored six in the win. Hunter Cresswell pulled down eight rebounds in the win. In the ‘B’ game, Jamarkus Kline and Oliver Santiago scored four apiece in a 16-12 win.
On Feb. 13 Rashid poured in 19 points and grabbed five rebounds as Fort Madison downed Burlington 45-43. in the ‘A’ game. Leif Boeding had eight points and Ben Ramatowski had six. In the ‘B’ game, Burlington rolled to a 42-15 win with Oliver Santiago and Jamarkus Kline each had four for the Bloodhounds. Burlington also won the ‘C’ game 14-4.
On Feb. 18, Rashid and Boeding each scored eight in a 49-27 loss to Keokuk in the ‘A’ game. Nathan Bowen had six points in the loss. Keokuk also won the ‘B’ game 30-19 with Kline scoring nine to lead FM. Santiago had seven rebounds in the game. Keokuk completed the sweep taking the ‘C’ contest 5-2.
On Feb. 20, Rashid scored 15 and Hunter Cresswell scored 11 as Fort Madison downed Fairfield on the road. Ramatowski had eight rebounds to lead the Hounds to a 37-24 win in the ‘A’ game. In the ‘B’ game, Jayden Gonsalves had 10 and Santiago had eight points in a 29-14 win. Fairfield won the ‘C’ game 12-5.
