FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Community Hospital recognized Brandy Lichtenberger as their January Employee of the Month. Brandy is part of the Community-Wide Scheduling Department. She has been with FMCH for twelve years. Brandy was recognized with this nomination:
This employee has been a huge asset to her department and has really stepped up over the recent months when her manager was away for an extended period of time. She is a wealth of knowledge and a go to for many other employees, and not only did she help make sure everything was running smooth, but she worked any and every shift on any day needed. She picked up nights, weekends, holidays etc. when staffing was very short and made sure we were staffed at all times. She is the true definition of a team player and we are lucky to have her as part of our organization!
“I am grateful for the continual support my management team gives to me to challenge me and help me fully utilize my knowledge, education and talents. This is by far my favorite part of working at FMCH. I have been given many opportunities to help create better processes that ensure we are a successful healthcare facility for our patients and employees. In particular, I want to recognize Matt Mullins, one of my first managers, for encouraging me to further my education. Chad Zeleny for his trust in my abilities and support of my ideas to improve processes. Debbie Green for mentoring me to pursue a leadership role at FMCH; and my current manager, Krista Bash for continuing that support to reach my career goals,” expressed Brandy.

When not at work, Lichtenberger stays busy with her two high school children’s activities.

The Employee of the Month is an initiative developed by the Reward & Recognition team. Each month a FMCH employee is honored for going above, and beyond for the good of the patient, their co-workers and the organization.
