03/13/20 - 11:38 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Christopher Allen Peak, 29, of Evansdale, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for probation violation. He was taken to the Lee County Jail, and released on bond.
03/13/20 - 12:00 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested April Lee Jacobson, 51, of Keokuk, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a court-ordered hold. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.
03/13/20 - 12:40 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tayler Andrew McCall, 20, of Keokuk, at the Lee County Jail and charge of interference with corrections officials. He was released on a promise to appear.
03/13/20 - 3:36 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 61 near 300th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Barbara Ann Garrett, 72, of Montrose was attempting to enter Hwy. 61 northbound of 300th Street when a vehicle driven by Robert Wayne White, 28, was traveling northbound on Hwy. 61. Garrett's vehicle struck the trailer White was driving in the rear dual wheels. Garrett's vehicle suffered heavy damage. She was cited for no insurance and failure to yield the right of way. No injuries were reported.
