"One of our deputies tried to make a stop and Clayton continued to elude officers. When we finally were able to get him pulled over, we arrested him and he had a firearm in his wasteband." Weber said.

The chase led officers north to the area of 195th Street and White Plains Road at speeds in excess of 90 miles per hour.

The two were taken into custody, booked into the Lee County Jail and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
