Two more positive cases make 13 in Lee County

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Lee County Health Department have identified two additional cases of COVID-19 in the county, both adults who are currently in isolation. This makes 13 cases in Lee County to date. LCHD would like to report that two cases are reported as recovered.
We encourage interested residents to check Iowa’s Coronavirus Dashboard, https://coronavirus.iowa.gov, if interested in knowing county testing data, confirmed case counts, and other useful information moving forward.
LCHD reminds people to continue taking safety measures to limit spread of this very contagious virus in our county. Residents are encouraged to:
Maintain at least a six-foot physical distance apart from others outside your home when possible.
Stay home when even mildly ill (the kind of illness that normally wouldn’t prevent you from your everyday activities)
Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow/upper arm.
Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Call your medical provider first if you need medical care and notify them of your symptoms.
Avoid coming in close contact with groups of people outside your household. When running errands (such as for groceries or medications) consider having only one person from the household go and if possible, wear a face covering.
