ARGYLE - The Lee County Sheriff's Department is asking for help in locating an Argyle man.

Sheriff's deputies were notified of a suspicious vehicle parked near a railroad crossing on Belfast Road near Argyle Wednesday. Upon investigation it was determined the vehicle was last driven by Jacob Pezley from Argyle. The vehicle, a 2003 white Pontiac Vibe, was located near his residence.

According to Lee County Sheriff's Detective Chad Donaldson, when Pezley's family was contacted, they indicated they hadn't seen him since Monday sometime between 9 and 10 p.m.

"We're not sure how long the car had been there. It was called in yesterday and we went out and checked on it and determined it had last been driven by Jacob," he said.

Donaldson said deputies scoured the area near the car on foot and used a drone with a thermal camera to try and locate Pezley but had no success. He said the department will reassess the situation on Friday if Pezley isn't located before then.

Anyone having information in regards to his location is asked to contact the Lee County Sheriff's Department at 319-372-1152.
