Task force makes two more arrests in Montrose

MONTROSE - The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a Montrose man and woman on Felony and Misdemeanor charges.

William Winn, 54, and Lisa Cloyed, 57, both of Montrose, Iowa were arrested on July 1st, 2020 in the 2600 Block Hwy 61 in Montrose, Iowa. Winn and Cloyed were both charged with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine a Class D Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a Simple Misdemeanor.

The arrest of Winn and Cloyed stems from Federal Probation and Parole conducting a home visit on Winn at which time they located methamphetamine in Winn’s possession and contacted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force to further the investigation.

The Federal Probation and Parole, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, and The Lee County Attorney’s Office, assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
