William “Bill” Allan Hart, 59 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Sunday, July 26, 2020 at his home.  He was born July 6, 1961 in Iowa, a son of John Marion II and Dorothy Lucille (Meyers) Hart.  He married Connie Wright on June 18, 1994.  She preceded him in death on May 13, 2020.

Bill graduated high school and then served in the United States Army. He was a truck driver for more than 25 years, and drove over-the-road with his wife, Connie. He was a backyard mechanic and enjoyed working on his vehicles. He was a San Francisco 49ers fan, enjoyed motorcycles, wrestling, and loud music. He loved his family especially his grandkids.

He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer McCarty of Alexandria, Minnesota; one step-daughter, Angela (Ed) Hart of Fort Madison; one son, Shane LaGrange of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three brothers: Larry, Ed, and John III; three sisters: Linda, Diane, and Sandra; grandchildren including Jenica, Jocelyn, and Rylan; 10 step grandchildren: Seth, Kathryn, William, Robin, Erica, Raven, Daniel, Cody, Toni, and Dylan; 11 step great grandchildren; and other family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son Billy Gene Hart, one sister Mary Ann Hart, two sisters-in-law Deanna Hart and Jan James, step daughter and son-in-law Terri and Les Ross, one nephew James Hart, his mother-in-law Vera Wright, and his dog of 16 years, Sable. 

His body has been cremated.  A graveside service to Celebrate the Lives of Bill and Connie Hart will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison.  Barr Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Hart family and an online guest book may be found at www.barrmemorialchapel.com.
