FM man charged with felony heroin possession

LEE COUNTY - The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a Fort Madison man on Felony charges.

Paul Londrie, 46, of Fort Madison, Iowa was arrested on August 7th, 2020 in the 1300 Block of Ave. I in Fort Madison, Iowa. Londrie is charged with Felony Possession of Heroin a Class D Felony; Felony Possession of Methamphetamine a Class D Felony; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a Simple Misdemeanor and Interference with Official Acts a Simple Misdemeanor.
The arrest of Londrie stems from a suspicious person call in the 1200 Block of Ave. H in Fort Madison. Fort Madison Officers responded and located a man identified as Londrie carrying a metal pipe. After a brief foot pursuit Officers apprehended Londrie and located narcotics on his person and contacted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force to assist in furthering the investigation.
The Fort Madison Police Department, and Lee County Attorney’s Office, assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
