Daniel Keith Nolan Sr., 71 years, of Donnellson, Iowa died Thursday, August 13, 2020 at his home.  Daniel was born March 25, 1949 in Illinois, a son of William and Jean (Hensley) Nolan.  

He married Patricia Gassparro, they had two sons, Daniel Jr and Anthony.  They later divorced.

He worked as an engineer for the Union Pacific railroad, retiring after 30 years.

Daniel enjoyed woodworking.  He was a man of faith and a member of Faith Christian Outreach Center in Mt. Pleasant.  Above all else, Daniel lived for his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandson.

He is survived by two sons, Daniel Jr (Tara) Nolan of Donnellson and Anthony Nolan of Chicago, Illinois; one sister Diane Pszotka of Carol Stream, Illinois; five grandchildren: Jessica Nolan (Logan Miller), Joseph Nolan (Ashley Campion), Clayton Campbell, Caleb Nolan, and Ethan Cortopassi; one great grandson Jaxon Helmick, one great granddaughter “on the way”, and numerous other family members and friends.  He was preceded by his parents, step-father Leroy Jarvis, and one sister Wilma Piper.

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated.  No formal services are scheduled at this time.  Barr Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Nolan family and an online guest book may be found at www.barrmemorialchapel.com.
