Posted

FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Community Hospital recognized the entire housekeeping department as the September Employees of the Month. This team of dedicated employees have been instrumental in the fight against the spread of COVID-19 at FMCH. They were recognized with this nomination:
This department is often recognized throughout the hospital for their ownership and responsibility to safety and high performance. During a recent Patient Care Services meeting, multiple leaders recognized this team for all of their hard work, especially during the COVID journey. Some of the processes to keep patients and staff safe have increased their work load, but they consistently step up to the plate with a positive attitude. This team exhibits all of the CREDO values. They are engaged, they ask questions, treat others with respect, show commitment to the entire organization, and have ownership.
These fifteen FMCH employees collectively have over 228 years of service to the organization.
The Employee of the Month is an initiative developed by the Reward & Recognition team. Each month a FMCH employee is honored for going above, and beyond for the good of the patient, their co-workers and the organization.
