Kevin W. Fuget, 58, of Donnellson, IA, passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. He was born on March 25, 1962 in Fort Madison, IA to James & Beverly Shacklett Fuget. He married Theresa Edholm and they later divorced. He worked at Fruehauf until it closed and then he worked for Iowa Bridge & Culvert after that. He enjoyed hunting, his home in the country and spending time with his sons.
Kevin is survived by: 2-sons: Andy (Jamie Dennison) Fuget of Fort Madison, IA & Brad (Christin) Fuget of Fort Madison, IA; 7-grandchildren: Nevaeha, Paige, Conner, Ava, Norah, Kenzie & Victoria; his parents: Jim & Bev Fuget of Fort Madison, IA; 2-brothers: Curt (Dana) Fuget of Streator, IL & Shawn (Deb) Fuget of Fort Madison, IA & his good friend: Dave McVeigh of Montrose, IA. He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents: Dorothy & Floyd Shacklett, his paternal grandmother: Estella Fuget & 1-uncle: Jimmy Shacklett.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at his son Brad’s house at 1999 303rd Avenue, Fort Madison, IA.
