Riechman named vice chair of Veteran's Affairs committee

DES MOINES – Senator-elect Jeff Reichman (R-Montrose) has been named as vice chair of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee for the 89^thGeneral Assembly.
This committee focuses on issues pertaining to veterans and currently serving military personnel, such as the IowaNational Guard, county veterans service officers, and the Iowa Veterans Home.
“As a veteran, I am honored to announce that I have been appointed to serve as the Vice Chair of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee,” said Senator-elect Reichman. “I look forward to serving in this capacity and brining my expertise to the table.”
