Elaine M. Harlow,76, of Montrose, IA, passed away at 12:20 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at The Kensington after losing her battle to cancer.She was born on January 20, 1944 in Scranton, IA to Blaine & Lorna Rogers Wever.She married Richard Lee Harlow on June 24, 1967 in Carroll, IA.She graduated from Glidden High School in Glidden, IA and went to work as an operator in 1962 for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company.She later became the first female installation repair technician in Iowa at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in Fort Madison.After retirement, she was a school bus driver for the Fort Madison Community School District for 10 years.She was a member of the Fort Madison Moose Lodge, Eagles Club, Pioneers International, UAW and was of the Catholic Faith.She enjoyed flowers, feeding & watching birds, animals, sewing, gardening and going to casinos.

       Elaine is survived by: her husband: Rich Harlow of Montrose, IA; 1-son: Dustin Richard Harlow of Iowa City, IA; 2-sisters: Alyce Hunt of McAllen, TX & Betty Smith of Webster City, IA.  She was preceded in death by: her parents, 4-brothers & 2-sisters.

       Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory and a celebration of Elaine’s life will be held at a later date.  A memorial has been established for P.A.W.
