FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Community Hospital recognized Traci Schrader as their October Employee of the Month. Traci works as a Certified Nursing Assistant on the Medical/Surgical unit as well as a housekeeper at FMCH. She has been with FMCH for one year. She was recognized with this nomination:
This staff member is unquestionably committed to those that she serves. She habitually comes in unplanned to meet the needs of her patients, even at a moment’s notice. Not only does she come in unplanned for our department but she also comes in and works in other departments, hence meeting the needs of her peers and FMCH on all levels. When she is on the unit she gives 110% to her patients and put the needs of others before her own. She is kind, caring, respectful, sincere and her work ethic is top notch. This employee is definitely a high performer, you will not see her sitting. No job is too big or too small for her, she is truly an owner at FMCH!
Schrader was quick to recognize the hard work and dedication of her co-workers.
“There have been so many people, in so many departments that have helped guide me here at FMCH. I’m partial to all my friends on med/surg who are working very hard, under very trying circumstances. I feel the same for my new friends in housekeeping who work tirelessly cleaning up after the coronavirus. I applaud Respiratory Therapy and the ER too for all of their efforts,” expressed Schrader.
“I enjoy the service and care we all provide to the community.”
When not at work, Traci enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and grandchildren.
The Employee of the Month is an initiative developed by the Reward & Recognition team. Each month a FMCH employee is honored for going above, and beyond for the good of the patient, their co-workers and the organization.
